Our family has 4 children and 11 grandchildren. It is my love for them and their peers that has me on this venue.
I would like to offer to all, the opportunity to live life to the fullest with hope for now and hereafter.
There are challenges we older ones face in sharing the thoughts, feelings and ideas we have that we think would help those coming behind us.
Communication technology can aid in that. Knowing full well that nothing substitutes for personal contact and true love and caring for others.
My life is full of simple pleasures. At the age of 73, the physical pleasures are not as barn burning as they once were. This is one fact that I can share in hopes that the younger ones will see their current "end of the world" thirsts for physical pleasure is not all there is to life.
So, this is my first attempt to share my thoughts on such personal matters to the world around in a cyberspace blog.
Therefore, the first thought to put forth in space is: the one who should go first in bridging the gap between generations is.......... the one whom God has inspired to do so.
As for me and my family, it is my job to reach out and create a bridge for my children and grandchildren to hear from their Dad and Papa.
So, Papa text's and Twitters, Facebooks and now blogs. We have a family website where we can share personal family things.
We get together twice a year as a total family ( 21 of us ) to share our love and appreciation with each other. For that, I am grateful and aware of the power of the kind of love only God can give.
