A Day With Mimi

What a great way to spend a day!  Just Mimi and me starting the day talking until 2 in the morning about how to help those around us who are struggling with feeling alone in their depression or chasing after strange things which are appealing in their strangeness.

We got up casually and want to the restaurant called Mimi's for a great breakfast.  The theme is New Orleans style which is so familiar to us from that region of the country.  She got Eggs Benedict and I got banana nut waffles.  It was awesome with that New Orleans style strong coffee.  It knocks your head off after two cups.

Then we went home to just rest up and wait for a movie at 1:15.  We just lay around with Koal and checked on answering emails and catching up on Facebook.

We went to see Do You Believe?  It was pretty good in showing the challenges in trusting in God when things don't go so well.  It brought me to tears several times.  Those things strike home to someone who tries very hard to serve God by serving others.

We then came home and waited for Koal's groomer to show up and give Koal his summer clip.  She came an hour early and we hit the net again while we waited for our favorite TV show to come on at 5 pm.  It's called The Five on Fox News.

Mimi then made a light supper for us and now we are waiting for our other favorite show, The O'Reilly Factor on Fox News.

The big news today was a crashed Lufthansa flight which killed 150 people and it appears to have been a suicide act by the co-pilot.  We are all suspicious of terrorist activity by Muslims these days due to their terrorist activity in the middle east and around the world.  The Muslim world is in terrible turmoil these days and they seem to have a desire for destruction every where.  That religion appears to be rife with turmoil.  It appears to be the curse put on Ishmael.  Abraham and Sarah would not wait on God and did not trust in His provision.  Seemed like a small thing at the time, but their offspring has suffered ever since.

No one on this Earth escapes the eye and judgement of God.  I now know that I did not get away with anything as a young man.  How stupid can one be.

It has been a great day so far and look forward to watching TV with Mimi, God's chosen mate for me.
